BMW Roadster Homecoming 2003 (part6)
Friday
One token shot at Friday morning's ZSCCA meeting, of our new Prez. taking the helm. (congrats. Mike) If you are not a member of the Z Series Car Club of America please check us out at: www.zscca.org You will find we all share the same passion for for the BMW Z Series cars and the way they take the twisties!
On the way to the plant we caught the club's Webmaster & 'mistress' (just kidding Mike & Gwen) in their bluetiful Laguna Blue M roadster.
The compulsory shots in front if the Zentrum, ya I know, but it's my post and I can include as many shots of my car as I want. ;o)
That afternoon we did the performance center, but will post my report and impressions of the Z4 later.
Our "Sea of Z's" thanks to our return to Greenville and the Peace Center for Friday night's dinner. Just can't imagine a Homecoming without this night in Greenville. (each one is linked to larger photos)
Below, assorted shots from our elegant dinner with entertainment provided by BMW.
Ms. ///M Bark getting dessert and did anyone actually go on this gondola ride?
Less we forget the beautiful job our guest singer (fellow Z3er) did on stage. He literally stole the stage. The second shot below Carol posed in her faux inbred teeth. Look Ma, you posed in the silly things, so I'm posting the shot.
Following the fireworks (no pics this year, batteries died) we opted for the Marriott Pool instead of painting the town by returning to Nookies. The heat and humidity did us all in, but the pool was so refreshing.
