"HCO2 Flashback" (part4)
This year we pitched out tent in the "ruins" which had a roof in case the impending rain became a reality. (Thankfully, the weather cooperated)

Following
another great dinner ( complete w/ champagne) lots of dancing and generally having the times of our
lives. The night came, again, too soon, to an end.
No pics of the awesome fireworks which BMW so gracefully provided nor the super back-pac picnic packs which were our gifts this year. Some of us decided to keep the party going and cruised around town looking for a place to hang a bit longer. Nookies, wasn't it Z3 Big Daddy? So what exactly is this "girl on the street" attempting to do? Huh, Deni? LOL |
Gotta love the blue & yellow highlights reflecting from the Arctic Silver in this last shot.
Believe me, Saturday morning has a way of coming way too soon, especially when you're temped to get to the plant before sunrise in an attempt to garnish front & center parking for the panoramic Pic. We opted for rest instead.
The rain Saturday forced a "top-up" picture, and pretty much dampened the day but by evening the weather began to dry up for a pleasant evening of dining at the plant.
Shawn (Ms. ///M-Bark ) McCurdy (our fabulous Florida ZSCCA rep) stopped to pose for an arm's length portrait with moi' and Zeattle Dave finally got to climb up on the stage to accept his "longest distance award" (Luckily, for Dave, Aloha Frank Kirkpatrick had moved back East from Hawaii and was no longer a threat.)
Homecoming Bound via the
